I was very pleased with the experience at bouchet vw in Franklin. I was able to get the car I wanted for a good price. The sales team made me aware of all the optional items they offered, but I never felt pressured to take anything I didn't feel I needed. There was a misprint on certified warranty terms and they handled that issue very well. I think they did a good job making a happy customer. And I love my id.4, what an awesome car!
I traded in my Toyota Highlander for a 2024 Atlas. They did a great job staying late to help us get a deal done quick on a weekend, but their attention to detail and cleanliness was so far below an acceptable standard, that I can’t rate them low enough. Our new vehicle was dirty, had an odor and had to return to the dealership twice to get cleaned. Serious safety issue with the cruise control buttons being stuck due to some type of previous spill that was not cleaned properly.

Date of visit: November 24, 2025 I came here as another dealership had indicated that my starter was beginning to go and should be replaced before it failed completely. I made the appointment online and arrived early for the appointment. After a short wait, I met with the service advisor who was very puzzled by my ask stating that "starters did not wear out," and asked me to start the car. We headed out into the garage area and I started the car. He was able to diagnose that the hesitation in the car starting was that it was not a Volkswagen battery and was not "coded" to the car. I confirmed that it was a battery from Advance Auto Parts because of the astronomical battery cost through the dealer. While cheaper, these batteries will wear out sooner as they drain faster because of the lack of "coding." This had never been mentioned to me before. Now I don't know who to trust and while I am grateful for not spending several hundred dollars on something I didn't need, have I been suckered into believing I need a VW battery in less than a year? And why didn't anyone look at my appointment and ask that before I drove 30 minutes to Hales Corners?

The experience was great except for the financing. The rate was totally unacceptable at 7.49%. I was able to get a rate of 4.99% before I drove home. I am refinancing the vehicle. Then yesterday I got a notice from the bank that the dealer was using saying a mistake was made and they were offering a rate of 6.49%. Too little, too late! I would buy again, but would have financing arranged in advance.
